JOB DESCRIPTION

Stinson is looking for a Senior Presentation Designer to work as a visual knowledge translation expert. You will work closely with our project managers and creative directors to create clear and engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics. With a balance of autonomy and guided training, our designers become experts in visual communication, design consulting, and PowerPoint design.

SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Designing with purpose — understanding the content of presentations and utilizing design best practices in your work;
2. Working closely with our clients to create clear, engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics;
3. Meeting clients and/or account managers to discuss business objectives and project requirements;
4. Attending project kick-off and feedback calls with clients and following up as required;
5. Ensuring projects meet technical requirements and objectives within scope while upholding brand standards;
6. Collaborating with team members from other departments to meet project objectives;
7. Thinking creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
8. Presenting ideas and concepts to clients;
9. Providing quality assurance—design and content QA of your own work to ensure high-quality results;
10. Keeping abreast of emerging technologies in design and AI.

WHAT YOU BRING

1. 3+ years of presentation design experience;
2. 3+ years experience in client-facing roles with excellent verbal and written comprehension, including working closely with executives, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback;
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, agency environment;
4. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills;
5. Highly proficient in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
6. Strong sense of visual aesthetics and typography;
7. Ability to quickly digest information;
8. A degree in graphic design or a related field is an asset.
