JOB DESCRIPTION

Stinson is looking for a Senior Presentation Designer to work as a visual knowledge translation expert. You will work closely with our project managers and creative directors to create clear and engaging presentations using sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics. With a balance of autonomy and guided training, our designers become experts in visual communication, design consulting, and PowerPoint design.

SOME OF WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Design with purpose by understanding the content of presentations and utilizing design best practices;
2. Collaborate with clients to create clear, engaging presentations with sharp visuals, animations, and tailored graphics;
3. Meet with clients and/or account managers to discuss business objectives and project requirements;
4. Attend project kick-off and feedback calls with clients and follow up as needed;
5. Ensure projects meet technical requirements and stay within scope while upholding brand standards;
6. Collaborate with team members from other departments to meet project goals;
7. Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts;
8. Present ideas and concepts to clients;
9. Provide quality assurance by reviewing your own design and content work for high-quality results;
10. Stay updated on emerging technologies in design and AI.

WHAT YOU BRING

1. At least 3 years of experience in presentation design;
2. At least 3 years of experience in client-facing roles with excellent communication skills, including working closely with executives, subject matter experts, and stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback;
3. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, agency environment;
4. Meticulous attention to detail and excellent time management skills;
5. Proficiency in PowerPoint and Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign);
6. Strong visual aesthetics and typography skills;
7. Ability to quickly digest and synthesize information;
8. A degree in graphic design or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
