Role Summary

Our Edmonton branch is looking for a Fire System Sales Representative to join the team. This role will be responsible for acquiring and maintaining new accounts within a specified territory. The self-motivated, high-profile, business-to-business sales professional possesses strong sales skills and technical aptitude with the ability to work both strategically and tactically to achieve sales objectives and promote Chubb’s solutions with a focus on growing the business.

Job Responsibilities

  • Quote systems with technical accuracy and within Chubb pricing guidelines.
  • Stay current in knowledge of product features (including competitor technology), applicable codes, standards, and regulations.
  • Travel to and visit customer sites, review drawings and specifications, determine objectives / requirements, and design systems through consultation that best meet customer and site needs.
  • Develop new accounts, follow up on leads, and service existing customers to obtain sales.
  • Prepare quotes for new / prospective and existing customers.
  • Maintain client rapport by understanding current and future needs and responding promptly.

Job Requirements

  • Experience managing complex fire projects and dealing with multiple trades.
  • Experience working with Contractors, Engineers & Distribution.
  • Experience within the construction market.
  • Proven sales experience in B2B services with strong prospecting skills, including cold calling.
  • Technical industry knowledge in fire systems or ability to learn quickly.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
