We assist local businesses in hiring, managing, and paying qualified workers.

Our clients include leading brands across various sectors, such as Burger King, Carl's Jr. / Hardee's, IHOP, KFC, and Culvers. As a Series B company backed by prominent venture capitalists like Founders Fund, BOND, and Coatue, we are rapidly expanding our product offerings.

In this role, you will collaborate across teams including sales, marketing, revenue operations, customer success, product, design, and engineering to ensure the quality of Workstream's products and to release high-quality, satisfying products.

The QA Engineer will report to the QA Manager and will be a key member of a squad responsible for releasing stable features.

Day in the Life :

  • Conduct functional testing, API testing, and automation testing for feature releases; follow testing processes to report and analyze bugs.
  • Participate in all phases of the development cycle to ensure product quality.
  • Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to address customer issues and perform root cause analysis with developers.
  • Communicate effectively with Product Managers, Developers, and UX teams to ensure high-quality product releases.
  • Contribute to the design and development of testing tools and platforms to enhance quality assurance mechanisms.

Who You Are :

  • Have 3+ years of experience in testing.
  • Skilled in various testing methodologies for internet products, with deep understanding of test design, workflow, and standards, especially Web testing.
  • Knowledgeable about Web API and automation API frameworks.
  • Experience with GUI automation testing frameworks such as Playwright or Cypress.
  • Understanding of DevOps tools like Github Actions, Jenkins, Docker, and familiarity with SQL and Shell scripting.
  • Experience in mobile testing is a plus.
  • High responsibility, team-oriented, proactive, and disciplined in work.
  • Eager to learn and adapt to new solutions to improve quality.
  • Excellent oral and written English communication skills.

What We Offer :

  • A mission-driven, value-based company committed to empowering deskless workers and local businesses.
  • An early employee opportunity at a Series B hyper-growth startup, working alongside the founding team and industry veterans to accelerate your career.
  • Competitive salary and equity.
  • Comprehensive health coverage including medical, dental, and vision insurance.
  • WeWork office space with amenities and perks.
  • Learning and development stipend.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
