Warehouse Floater Role

Responsible for the movement of materials from Stores to the production floor.

Nationality Requirements

Candidates must be eligible to obtain the relevant security clearance required for this role, due to the nature of the programmes we deliver for our customers.

Job Description

Working under minimal supervision, the Warehouse Floater performs all duties of a Material Handler and the following:

  • Receiving, shipping, and maintaining ERP system records.
  • Receiving, unpacking, and checking incoming materials and documentation.
  • Unloading carriers.
  • Maintaining files and process documentation.
  • Operating duplicating and automated record-keeping equipment, including computers (ERP system).
  • Operating forklift trucks and other equipment.
  • Checking and issuing materials, sorting, storing, and transporting materials, and managing stock levels and storage methods.
  • Receiving, counting, and checking units to be shipped against documentation.
  • Packing articles and securing containers with labels and shipping information.
Skills & Capabilities
  • Grade 12 or equivalent experience and capability.
  • Successful completion of Forklift Operation Training.
  • Broad knowledge of inventory control and material handling techniques.
  • Good computer skills.
  • Competent reading and writing skills.
  • Physical ability to perform job demands.

Typically, a high school diploma (or equivalent) and 1+ years of related experience.
