About the role

Join Partner Solutions (PSI) team as a Security Advisor Senior, Incident response!

What you'll do here:

1. Ensure optimal triage of security alerts while participating in the escalation and eradication of cybersecurity incidents within established deadlines.
2. Discover irregularities, investigate advanced cyber events and provide third-level support in investigations as well as confirmed incidents when required.
3. Participate in the cybersecurity incident lifecycle, from preparation to post-mortem.
4. Ensure optimal coverage by reviewing detection rules, proposing improvements and/or new rules according to the organization's operational context.
5. Participate in the creation, enhancement, review and maintenance of documentation in accordance with the organization’s standards.
6. Work in collaboration with the various internal teams on the different projects and initiatives as an SME (Subject Matter Expert), when required.
7. Respond to user queries related to cybersecurity.
8. Participate in 24/7 support rotation in collaboration with other team members.

What you bring to the table:

1. Bachelor’s degree in information technology, system security management or other relevant experience.
2. Five to eight years of experience in information security (cybersecurity).
3. Expert in the basic principles of security incident management.
4. Excellent analytical, synthesis and problem-solving skills.
5. Outstanding team spirit.
6. Initiative, self-reliance.
7. Attention to detail and skilled communicator.
8. Ability to mentor team members and transfer knowledge.
9. Demonstrated commitment to training, self-study and maintaining technical cybersecurity skills.
10. Bilingual (French and English): Need to interact on a regular basis with an English-speaking clientele and colleagues across the country.
11. No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
