Qualifications

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's license required.
  • Minimum two years of experience in coiled tubing operations.
  • N2 and Fluid experience is an asset.

Job description

Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way,” is the priority in all activities.
  2. Confirm all necessary product and equipment are loaded and ready for transport prior to leaving base.
  3. Verify with customers that all quantities, types of fluid, additives, and mixing processes meet requirements.
  4. Perform pre- and post-trip inspections and accurately complete all required forms.
  5. Perform rig-in and rig-out of all equipment for travel.
  6. Convey safety concerns and procedures to customers and rig crews on site.
  7. Complete all applicable paperwork upon job completion and forward to relevant personnel.
  8. Monitor available work and driving hours, as well as hours worked by operators.
  9. Assist in the development, evaluation, and training of related personnel; provide guidance, leadership, and discipline.
  10. Ensure that job quality, safety standards, and procedures comply with Trican’s standards, government legislation, and customer requirements.
Experience & Skills:
  1. Valid Class 1 Driver's license is required.
  2. Minimum two years of experience in coiled tubing operations is required.
  3. N2 and Fluid experience is an asset.
  4. High school diploma is an asset.
  5. Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract may be requested.
  6. Physically demanding; heavy lifting required.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  8. Skilled in problem-solving techniques.
