COILED TUBING SUPERVISOR – RED DEER (RDC)

The Coiled Tubing Supervisor is responsible for the coordination of various coiled tubing operations in the field. Supervisors are also responsible for the supervision and safety of personnel and equipment at all times, whether on a customer’s location or between locations.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that Trican’s core value, “We won’t put anyone in harm’s way” is the priority in all activities
  • Confirm all necessary product and equipment is loaded and ready for transport prior to leaving base
  • Confirm with customer that all quantities, types of fluid, additives, and mixing processes meet with customer and program requirements
  • Perform pre and post trip inspections and accurately fill out all required forms
  • Perform rig-in and rig out of all equipment for travel
  • Convey all safety concerns and procedures to customers and rig crews on site
  • Complete all applicable paperwork upon job completion and forward to applicable personnel
  • Monitor available hours to work and drive and hours worked for operators
  • Assist in the development, evaluation, and training of all related personnel as well as provide guidance, leadership, and discipline to all employees
  • Ensure job quality, safety requirements, and standard procedures coincide with Trican company standards, government legislation, and customer requirements

Experience & Skills:

  • Valid Class 1 Driver's license is required
  • Minimum two years of experience in coiled tubing operations is required
  • N2 and Fluid experience is an asset
  • High school diploma is an asset
  • Safe driving skills; driver’s abstract will be requested
  • Physically demanding - heavy lifting required
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Skilled in problem-solving techniques

Working Conditions:

  • 15 days on/6 days off
  • On call 24-hours during shift
  • Must live near base of employment
  • Pre-employment medical testing required
