Qualifications

• Additional experience with extrusion processes is a plus.

• Perform setups, shutdowns, and changeovers on plastic manufacturing machines.
• Conduct general basic maintenance on machines.
• Operate and troubleshoot thermoforming, extrusion, injection moulding, and blow molding processes.
• Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment.

Job description

Job Responsibilities

1. Perform setups, shutdowns, and changeovers on plastic manufacturing machines.
2. Conduct general basic maintenance on machines.
3. Delegate tasks to packagers on the line.
4. Operate and troubleshoot thermoforming, extrusion, injection moulding, and blow molding processes.
5. Ensure safety and proper operation of equipment.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of 1+ years of experience with plastic manufacturing machines.
2. Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand tools and forklift operation.
3. Ability to perform lifting tasks safely.
4. Additional experience with extrusion processes is a plus.

Work Environment

This facility operates 24/7 on a continental schedule (6:30 - 6:30). Each shift has about 20 employees, with 2 operators and 3 packagers per machine. The environment is warm, requiring safety gear such as coats, hairnets, beardnets, earplugs, and safety glasses.

Shift Openings & Compensation

There are 2 openings on the day shift and 1 on the night shift, which includes a $1 premium. Pay range is $24.00 - $27.00/hr.
