Job Description:

Parsons is seeking an experienced Principal Software Developer to join our team. You will work with dedicated developers delivering quality software that supports our customer’s offensive cyber capabilities. Your responsibilities include designing, writing, testing, and debugging software to support this mission.

Quarterly travel for planning events and occasional on-site support is expected.

What You'll Be Doing:

1. Designing and developing software as part of an agile team
2. Performing code reviews
3. Testing and debugging software
4. Participating in planning events
5. Supporting testing, troubleshooting, and debugging efforts remotely and on-site with the customer

What Required Skills You'll Bring:

• U.S. Citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility
• Bachelor’s degree and 10+ years of related professional experience
• Programming experience with Java and/or Python
• Experience delivering software solutions for government or commercial clients
• Experience with Docker and/or Kubernetes
• Familiarity with SQL and no-SQL databases
• Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and technical discussions
• Ability to participate in cross-functional planning and coordination
• Effective team collaboration in a fast-paced environment

What Desired Skills You'll Bring:

• Experience with Kafka
• Background in cybersecurity
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like Playwright
• Familiarity with Go programming language

Salary Range:

$144,800.00 - $260,600.00
