As Canada’s Bridge and Infrastructure Company, Atlantic Industries Limited (AIL) operates a coast-to-coast network of sales/engineering offices and manufacturing plants. We’ve been developing innovative, engineered infrastructure solutions for the transportation, public works, railway, mining and energy, forestry, and development sectors for over 55 years.
We are looking for a General Labourer on a contract basis for a specified term. Duties must be fulfilled as assigned by the shop supervisor / lead hand safely, efficiently and effectively. Other duties will be assigned as necessary.
What You Will Do
- Cut, fit, and weld components to manufacture corrugated pipe fittings.
- Use of hand plasma, oxy-acetylene, band saw and misc. hand tools.
- Assisting operators in material handling.
- Assisting in routine maintenance.
- Keeping the workstations tidy and clean
- Assisting with trouble shooting and problem solving.
What You Will Need
- Safety conscious
- Welding experience would be considered an asset.
- Must possess a certain degree of mechanical aptitude.
- Must be able to work accurately with measurements.
- Must be organized and self-motivated.
- Must be able to communicate with others.
- Must be able to work in a team environment.
- Experience with heavy machinery would be considered an asset.

Hourly Pay Rate - $21.51/hour
Location – Dorchester, ON
