Job description

Tremco CPG Inc. has been a world leader in solving complex waterproofing and roofing problems for commercial, institutional, and industrial accounts since 1928. Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc., Tremco’s service division, is currently seeking a Foreman for projects in Saskatchewan.

Responsibilities

• Execute all projects within the region, including GC and larger-scale restoration & repair projects, from start-up to completion.
• Manage a crew of Field Technicians to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, within scope and specifications.
• Conduct daily onsite safety briefs, inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools, and address safety concerns promptly.
• Manage product and application training for the crew and subcontractors, ensuring availability of tools and materials.
• Maintain communication with all relevant parties throughout the project.
• Oversee ordering, tracking, and monitoring of inventory, and ensure timely quarterly cycle counts.
• Complete end-of-day or end-of-project walkthroughs, ensure quality repairs, and document work with photos and reports sent to the Sales Rep.
• Assist in pricing service jobs in collaboration with supervisors.
• Monitor and document performance of Field Resource Reps, taking corrective actions as needed.
• Escalate employee issues to supervisors and HR as necessary.
• Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by supervisors or regional managers.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of Foreman experience in the roofing industry.
• Experience with product and application training is a strong asset.
• Experience managing multiple projects with varying scopes.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to travel up to 25% or more within the region.
• Thorough knowledge of roofing systems such as BUR, Single Ply, SBS, metal, and steep slope roofing, and repair techniques.
• Ability to work at heights.
• Experience using technology to report project progress.
• Ability to work effectively with team members and apprentices.
• Valid Driver’s License with access to a company truck.
• Estimating experience is an asset.
