Tremco CPG Inc. has been a world leader in solving complex waterproofing and roofing problems for commercial, institutional, and industrial accounts since 1928. Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc., Tremco’s service division, is currently seeking a Foreman for projects in Saskatchewan.
Responsibilities
- Execute all projects within the region, including GC and larger-scale restoration & repair projects, from start-up to completion.
- Manage a crew of Field Technicians to ensure projects are completed safely and efficiently, within scope and specifications.
- Conduct daily onsite safety briefs, inspect surroundings, equipment, and tools, and address safety concerns promptly.
- Manage product and application training for the crew and subcontractors, ensuring availability of tools and materials.
- Maintain communication with all relevant parties throughout the project.
- Oversee ordering, tracking, and monitoring of inventory, and ensure timely quarterly cycle counts.
- Complete end-of-day or end-of-project walkthroughs, ensure quality repairs, and document work with photos and reports sent to the Sales Rep.
- Assist in pricing service jobs in collaboration with supervisors.
- Monitor and document performance of Field Resource Reps, taking corrective actions as needed.
- Escalate employee issues to supervisors and HR as necessary.
- Perform additional duties or projects as assigned by supervisors or regional managers.
Qualifications
- Minimum two years of Foreman experience in the roofing industry.
- Experience with product and application training is a strong asset.
- Experience managing multiple projects with varying scopes.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Willingness to travel up to 25% or more within the region.
- Thorough knowledge of roofing systems such as BUR, Single Ply, SBS, metal, and steep slope roofing, and repair techniques.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Experience using technology to report project progress.
- Ability to work effectively with team members and apprentices.
- Valid Driver’s License with access to a company truck.
- Estimating experience is an asset.
