Job Description: Financial Analyst
This role is an in-office position with work-from-home flexibility up to 7 times a month. Full-time in-office work is mandatory for the first six weeks.
We are seeking a Financial Analyst to support our organization’s growth. This role offers exposure to accounting, finance, and tax work, ideal for a self-starter eager to develop within a growing company and contribute to building our finance team.
Qualifications
- University Degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA candidate preferred)
- 3-5 years of progressive finance experience
- High integrity and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Organized with strong attention to detail; capable of managing multiple responsibilities
- Understanding of cash management, including working with payment processors and financial institutions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, G Suite; knowledge of QuickBooks, ADP, PurelyHR, and Salesforce is a plus
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
Accounting (30%)
- Maintain all financial transactions in QuickBooks
- Prepare daily and weekly sales reports and scorecards
- Prepare monthly financial statements and bank reconciliations
- Process accounts payable and initiate payments
- Manage internal expense processing and sales tax tracking
- Verify expenses and support schedules; serve as main contact for vendor payments
- Prepare monthly management reports
Payroll & Benefits (30%)
- Prepare bi-monthly payroll in ADP for review
- Calculate monthly sales commissions
- Maintain attendance logs and set up payroll and time-off accounts for new hires
Financial Reporting & Analysis (25%)
- Prepare weekly and monthly financial reports for management
- Analyze financial data, perform variance analysis, and support budgeting and forecasting
- Assist with ERP implementation and data integrity
Accounts Receivable (15%)
- Support collections and manage customer payment queries
- Handle complex collections and credit analysis
- Reconcile collections reports

Reporting & Working Hours
This position reports to the Finance Director. Working hours are 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday to Thursday, and 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. on Friday, with a one-hour lunch break between 12:30 p.m. and 1:30 p.m.
