Supplier Quality Engineer

$44.77 / hr on T4

Description :

The Supplier Quality Engineer is responsible for driving exceptional product quality for patients, delivering customer value beyond expectations, ensuring regulatory compliance, and optimizing the Cost of Quality.

Responsibilities :

1. Focus on part/process qualification, issue resolution, and implementing quality plans (corrective/preventive actions).
2. Respond to supplier inquiries by engaging the appropriate client resources.
3. Remind suppliers to submit documents via email/Teams and escalate as needed to meet schedules.
4. Review returned documents for completeness.
5. Coordinate with client resources to approve documents, escalating when necessary.
6. Create and maintain a filing system in SharePoint for document repository.

Qualifications / Requirements :

• Bachelor's Degree in engineering or a technical discipline.
• Knowledge of critical quality aspects in industrial process control, verification, and validation through process qualification.
• Experience with quality management systems in an ISO 9001:2015 environment.
• Experience in supplier quality engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, or engineering, preferably in biotech or pharmaceutical industries.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, Teams, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
• Strong team player with collaborative skills.
• Effective communication skills across all levels of the organization and with global suppliers.
