Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, the Vice President of Sales will be responsible for building, developing, and supporting a high-performing sales team to drive sustainable growth across North America. A key focus will be on hiring top talent, nurturing leadership potential, and fostering a culture of accountability and excellence. In addition to team development, the VP of Sales will lead the design and execution of a strategic sales and business development plan, focused on driving revenue through prospecting, technology evangelism, and long-term customer relationships. This role will also own and implement sales management processes that ensure consistency, performance tracking, and operational excellence across the commercial organization.
Responsibilities :
- Continuously attract and recruit top sales talent to build a high-calibre team
- Foster a metrics-driven sales culture focused on prospecting excellence and accountability.
- Lead and develop a world-class sales organization aligned with best practices and performance standards.
- Develop and execute sales strategies that ensure scalable, repeatable and profitable growth.
- Own revenue performance, delivering accurate forecasts, leading quarterly reviews, and overseeing sales enablement.
- Define commercial vision and identify new opportunities to fuel Novisto’s long-term success.
- Monitor sales performance and drive excellence, refining org structure, talent, and account strategy to scale.
- Build and strengthen relationships with C-level executives at key customers and prospects.
- Identify new target customer opportunities for business development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support the success of sales goals.
- Collaborate with marketing to support pipeline growth through effective lead generation strategies.
- Develop internal talent, creating clear pathways for growth and leadership succession.
- Deliver double-digit YoY growth through a high-impact, scalable sales model.
- Lead by example, engaging deeply in sales cycles and fostering a collaborative, motivated team culture for a geographically distributed group.
- Stay ahead of the competition, translating market insights and client needs into a strategic advantage for Novisto.
What We’re Looking For :
- 7+ years in B2B sales, including at least 2 years in a sales leadership role with direct responsibility for closing new business.
- Second-line management experience preferred, especially in scaling North American sales teams.
- Proven success in scaling high-performance sales teams within fast-growing organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to hire, onboard, and lead Account Executives in a B2B enterprise SaaS environment.
- Consistent achievement of quarterly bookings targets with a track record of exceeding sales goals.
- Expertise in building a strong prospection culture, setting quarterly prospecting goals, and holding teams accountable.
- Experience in creating and executing quarterly development plans to support team growth and skill advancement.
- Strong people leadership and coaching skills, with a focus on developing high-potential talent.
- Experience in mentoring and promoting individual contributors into their first leadership roles is a strong asset.
- Analytical and data-driven, with the ability to derive actionable insights and deliver accurate sales forecasts.
- Agile and adaptable, with a growth mindset and the ability to thrive in fast-paced, evolving environments.
- Experience with Hubspot or a similar CRM platform.
- Proven ability to build and lead high-performing sales teams, fostering loyalty, trust, and alignment with organizational goals.
- Strong business acumen, understanding of business financials, P&L statements, and ROI analysis.
- Hands-on, action-oriented leader with a “roll-up-your-sleeves” mentality; a motivating presence and proven ability to drive change and inspire teams.
- Exceptional leadership and communication skills, with a talent for building trust-based relationships with both customers and team members.
- Results-driven and solutions-focused, with a strong sense of ownership and a consistent track record of delivering on revenue goals.
- Genuine interest for ESG, aligned with Novisto’s mission and values.
- Innately curious and growth-minded, with a drive to continuously learn and improve.
