Rental Assistant

Kelowna, BC | Temporary

Dawson Idealease is seeking a temporary Rental Assistant to ensure efficient rental operations and support business development.

This role is a full-time, temporary position reporting to the Manager of Rentals. Responsibilities include coordinating rental processes, conducting business-to-business sales calls for rental business growth, and promoting all rental product lines. The base location will be Kelowna.

• Prepare product quotes tailored to customer needs
• Generate rental invoices for customers and internal departments
• Maintain filing for repair orders, parts invoices, and rental forms, ensuring completeness
• Coordinate daily rental fleet readiness
• Assist the manager with daily tasks
• Coordinate service and maintenance activities
• Arrange direct delivery of products and equipment
• Engage with customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders
• Follow up post-sale to resolve issues and provide ongoing support
• Identify prospective customers through directories and leads
• Monitor market trends, product innovations, and competitor activities
• Deliver sales presentations to persuade potential customers

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of customer service experience (preferred)
• At least 1 year of sales experience (preferred)
• Post-secondary education in a related field (preferred)
• Equivalent education and industry experience will be considered
