Job description

Dawson Idealease is looking for a temporary Rental Assistant who will ensure efficient rental operations and business development.

In this role, you will be a valued member of Dawson Idealease, working in a temporary, full-time position of Rental Assistant reporting to the Manager of Rentals. Your responsibilities will include coordinating rental processes, conducting business-to-business sales calls for Idealease rental business development, and promoting all rental product lines. Your base location will be Kelowna.

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE

1. Prepare product quotes for customers based on their specific needs and interests.
2. Prepare rental invoices for customers and internal departments.
3. Maintain filing for repair orders, parts invoices, and rental forms, identifying missing documents.
4. Coordinate rental readiness of the rental fleet daily.
5. Assist the manager with daily tasks.
6. Assist with coordinating service and maintenance.
7. Arrange direct delivery of products and equipment.
8. Contact regular and prospective customers to demonstrate products, explain features, and solicit orders.
9. Consult with clients after sales and contract signings to resolve problems and provide ongoing support.
10. Identify prospective customers using business directories and following leads from existing clients.
11. Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
12. Deliver sales talks to persuade potential customers to purchase products or services.

WHAT YOU BRING

1. Minimum two (2) years’ experience in customer service (preferred).
2. Minimum one (1) year of sales experience (preferred).
3. Post-secondary education in a related discipline (preferred).
4. An equivalent combination of education and industry experience will be considered.
