Position Overview

Reporting to the CMLU GSM Project Manager, the GSM Project Management Specialist will assist in coordinating the induction of Government Supplied Material (GSM) for the Cormorant Mid Life Update (CMLU) program. This role ensures timely delivery of GSM and manages its requirements within the In Service Support Contract (ISSC).

What You Will Do

1. Schedule component removal from ISS activities to ensure on-time GSM program delivery.
2. Support the GSM Project Manager across all program aspects.
3. Liaise with Engineering for technical input on modifications.
4. Coordinate with the ISS material department for purchase orders related to GSM.
5. Work with the Cormorant Support Centre Life Cycle Material Specialists on GSM components.
6. Ensure work is completed on time and within budget by suppliers and departments.
7. Communicate with the Department of National Defense regarding the GSM program, including reviews.
8. Perform other duties as assigned.

What You Will Bring

1. 3-5 years of experience in supply chain or logistics, preferably in aerospace.
2. College Diploma in business or related field, or equivalent experience.
3. Experience working in a matrix environment and achieving results.
4. Knowledge of airworthiness programs in aerospace.
5. Financial management and forecasting skills.
6. Experience with MS Project is an asset.
7. Understanding of project management principles.
8. Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems like JD Edwards.
9. Ability to obtain and maintain security clearances from PSPC and Transport Canada.
