Airswift is seeking a Productivity Manager to work for an innovative Construction Technology client in Calgary, AB. This is a 1-year contract with a high possibility of extension.
The consultant Project Manager embodies three main aspects of the company’s work:
- Project Implementation and Support of Execution:
- Lead implementation of the company’s solutions and services on client-specific projects.
- Liaise with the client team and the company’s product & services management to deliver all aspects of the work scope.
Business:
- Familiarize with company projects and initiatives, and incorporate client and customer requirements.
- Monitor market activities and alert internal teams of opportunities or threats.
- Lead strategic company liaison and partnerships; participate in industry forums or events.
- Develop marketing materials and support pre-sales efforts.
- Prepare project implementation proposals, scope of work, and evaluate design documents.
- Promote the company’s flagship product PACE to key customers through presentations, trade shows, and other channels.
- Develop business cases, conduct due diligence, and assist in negotiations with clients.
- Prepare and present pitches to government for funding or grants.
- Build relationships with potential customers and collaborate with senior management on strategic planning.
- Conduct market research to identify industry and partnership opportunities.
Technical:
- Identify and contribute to the enhancement of the company’s products and services.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and best practices.
- Prepare business workflows and detailed functional requirements for product improvements.
Candidate Background:
- 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience in project management, controls, or construction management within EPC projects.
- Some field experience in construction projects is advantageous.
- Engineering degree in an EPC discipline; certifications like SCRUM, PMP, LEAN, or Six Sigma are desirable.
- Experience in client-facing roles such as project manager or senior project engineer facilitates transition.
- Strong communication skills, focus on outcomes, process improvement mindset, and ability to challenge norms.
Qualifications:
- University degree in Engineering with 15+ years of multi-disciplinary experience.
- Familiarity with EPC projects.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, and Visio.
- 3-4 years of experience in industrial or construction projects preferred.
