Job Summary:

As a disability and productivity consultant you will develop and coordinate strategies to implement and administer Workplace Possibilities (WP) programs for specific customers for ADA and related programs.

Responsibilities include:

  1. Provide information, guidance, and education to customers on disability and return to work issues and WP programs.
  2. Provide training for customers and their employees on disability issues, including return to work.
  3. Collect metrics to determine the cost effectiveness of WP programs for specific employers.
  4. Evaluate how specific employer WP programs are performing, identifying opportunities for improvement both internally and for employers.
  5. Lead WP program implementations for customers as an active and involved account manager, providing guidance on all aspects of the program.
  6. Provide training to the Return to Work (RTW) team (nurses and vocational case managers) supporting specific accounts. Oversee RTW activities for those accounts and provide coaching and feedback to RTW team supporting the account.
  7. Provide consultative work with specific employers on worksite, ergonomic issues, WP program development, and other areas related to productivity.
  8. Maintain on-going expertise through conference attendance and other self-learning activities.
  9. Support sales by participating in finalist presentations, site visits and other customer facing events.
Job Specifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in social science or related field is preferred, but not required. A high school diploma or GED equivalent is required.

Certifications preferred, but not required: CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor), CDMS (Certified Disability Management Specialist) or CCM (Certified Case Manager).

A minimum of six (6) years of work experience in the vocational rehabilitation field, nursing field, or the equivalent combination of education and/or relevant experience.

At least one (1) year of experience working directly with employers providing return to work assistance, preferably being on-site with an employer or provider of such services.

Advanced knowledge of: the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), family leave laws, Fair Claims Settlement Practices Act, and laws governing client confidentiality.

Familiarity with industry benchmarking standards, case management documentation and statistical report generation.

Experience in is preferred, but not required.

Please note - the salary range for this role is listed below. In addition to salary, our package includes incentive plan participation and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision and retirement benefits, as well as an initial PTO accrual of 164 hours per year. Employees also receive 11 paid holidays and 2 wellness days per year.

Eligibility to participate in an incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program and plan. Any award depends on various factors, including individual and organizational performance.

Salary Range:

$84,000.00 - $123,250.00
