Job description

Purpose:

Responsible for the training, knowledge, compliance, and certification of ATI flight crew members. Upholds Standard Operating Procedures and Safety during line operations.

Job Functions:

  1. Conduct Line Checks with flight crewmembers to ensure standards and proficiency.
  2. Conduct Operating Experience (OE), SLF (Supervised Line Flying), area checks, ETOPs training, etc.
  3. Familiarize crews with the latest operational and training bulletins.
  4. Provide suggestions for improvements and safer operations.
  5. Complete required checks and training forms, forwarding them to Flight Standards and Training.

Position Requirements:

  1. Hold the required certificates and ratings to serve as PIC in revenue service.
  2. First Class Medical certification.
  3. Meet training and currency requirements to serve as ATI PIC.
  4. Maintain line currency as a flight crewmember.
  5. Demonstrate ability to conduct a line check in the aircraft to an FAA inspector initially and biennially.

Physical Requirements:

  1. Stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone keyboard regularly.
  2. Comply with ATI attendance requirements.
  3. Lift up to 50 lbs.
