Job description

The Adjunct Faculty Member in IO Psychology plays a vital role in our department, working under the supervision of the Program Director. This position involves developing course syllabi, delivering approved curricula on campus, and integrating theory, research, and practice based on best practices. The role also includes serving on thesis committees and acting as a faculty reader for capstone projects. Emphasizing social justice and mentoring graduate students, the faculty member contributes to our mission of preparing socially responsible IO psychology practitioners.

Education / Experience :
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology or related discipline from an accredited university (preferred).
  • 1-2 years of university/college teaching experience (preferred).
  • Experience in course design, development, and training materials implementation.
  • Proficiency with presentation software and technology.
Certifications / Licenses :
  • CPHR and/or SHRM designation or candidacy (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities :
  • Strong record in graduate-level teaching and curriculum design.
  • Commitment to diversity and social justice.
  • Experience with community-engaged scholarship and public policy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Research skills and critical thinking.

Work Environment :
