Job description

The Grande Law Firm is looking for a passionate and skilled Associate Attorney to join our Los Angeles office and advocate for immigrant families with excellence, integrity, and compassion. This role is for a mission-driven attorney who is committed to delivering life-changing results for our clients while collaborating in a high-performing, growth-oriented team.

Responsibilities:

  1. Advocate with Excellence – Manage immigration cases from inception to resolution, ensuring precision, compliance, and the highest standard of legal representation.
  2. Lead with Integrity & Trust – Meet with clients to deeply understand their goals, provide transparent advisement, and maintain consistent, empathetic communication throughout their case.
  3. Commit to Thorough Preparation – Conduct in-depth legal research, analyze case files, and gather strong supporting evidence to build compelling cases.
  4. Represent with Confidence & Boldness – Advocate for clients in interviews, hearings, and court appearances, ensuring they are fully prepared and supported.
  5. Collaborate for Success – Develop strategic case plans and guide paralegals and legal assistants in executing tasks efficiently to meet key milestones.
  6. Ensure Accountability & Growth – Review all assigned cases at least monthly, proactively addressing any challenges and providing regular updates to clients.
  7. Maintain Transparency & Efficiency – Track and record billable hours accurately, ensuring detailed case documentation to support smooth workflows.
  8. Close Cases with Excellence – Prepare case memorandums and oversee the timely and thorough resolution of cases.
  9. Guide Clients with Clarity & Care – Conduct strategy sessions with potential clients, assessing their needs and ensuring a seamless onboarding process that aligns with their legal goals.
  10. Foster Long-Term Client Trust – Build and maintain positive client relationships by delivering clear, proactive communication and personalized service that reflects our firm’s commitment to their success.

Qualifications:

Required Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
  • Active member in good standing with the State Bar Association (CA preferred).
  • Minimum of three+ years of experience in immigration law.
  • Fluency in Spanish (spoken and written).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience handling family-based immigration, asylum, removal defense, and other immigration matters.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to work with diverse clientele.

Compensation:
$90,000 to $110,000 per year
