Project Coordinator - Architectural Panels Systems
Custom Metal Contracting Ltd. is located in Calgary, Alberta, Canada. We are seeking a full-time Project Coordinator. We are a leading designer, manufacturer, and installer of Architectural Metal Wall Panel Systems, Commercial Siding, Metal Decking, and Standing Seam Roofing. This role offers an excellent opportunity for a candidate with significant experience in the Architectural Metal field and strong references.

This fast-paced environment involves tight deadlines across multiple projects in various locations. The Project Coordinator will assist in project management and coordination from start to finish.

Responsibilities:

1. Plan and execute projects with our Project Management team during all construction phases, including shop drawings, approvals, production, fabrication, and project close-out.
2. Manage document control and quality control for projects.
3. Issue project samples and transmittals for approval.
4. Submit shop drawings for approval in collaboration with the Project Manager.
5. Assist in developing budgets, estimating costs, and tracking project expenses.
6. Review and interpret contracts, specifications, addenda, drawings, details, samples, and correspondence.
7. Absorb and retain new information and training effectively.

Qualifications:

• Diploma from SAIT or NAIT in Engineering, Architectural Technologies, or related field.
• Project Management Diploma or designation is a strong asset.
• Strong analytical, planning, and negotiating skills.
• Advanced knowledge of MS Office suite.
• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics is an asset.
