Job Description
There are several positions in 3 Categories
CATEGORY 1
Mild to Moderate Needs
Communications (Elementary / Secondary) and Mild Intellectual Disability (Intermediate / Secondary)
Intensive Support Programs; CBRM (Home School and Resource) Programs; Secondary Resource
Working with students who have mild to moderate educational needs and who may also demonstrate mild to moderate social / emotional / behavioural needs and / or mild to moderate physical care needs.
CATEGORY 2
Multiple Exceptionality, Behaviour, Autism, Physical Disability
Mild intellectual Disability (Primary / Junior) Intensive Support Programs
Working with students with moderate to severe exceptional needs is present. These needs are in addition to or beyond academic needs and are demonstrated frequently and consistently. A priority is to support these students to develop self-advocacy skills to direct their own personal care and to foster independence.
CATEGORY 3
Working in Intensive Support special education classes where students with developmental disabilities are present. These students have high risk and complex needs; they have very limited abilities to direct their own physical care.
