Job description

The Quality Control Lead will work with the Quality Control team to coordinate workflow, delegate tasks, and assist the Operations Manager with supervisory duties. They will be expected to identify garment quality/fit issues following our contract standards, as well as assist with vendor communication. As a result of this person's efforts, Lulus will be able to provide our customers with high-quality merchandise, and accurate product descriptions.

What You'll Do

Team Lead

  • Work with the QC Team to identify possible fit/quality issues
  • Train new and existing team members
  • Delegate tasks to team members as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with warehouse teams, Creative, and Buying teams to address quality-related customer concerns
  • Coordinate with the QC team to ensure all new and updated products are up to Lulus standard

Quality Control

  • Maintain knowledge of standards outlined in the Lulus Vendor Contract
  • Assist the Quality Control team with daily tasks as needed
  • Work cross-functionally with all teams on product issues
  • Assist in vendor communications/product returns
  • Maintain and monitor QC inventory/return bins
  • Maintain a consistent presence and accessibility on the warehouse floor every scheduled day
  • Performs other assignments from time to time as requested by the DC management team to achieve department, DC, and company goals

What You'll Need

  • Understanding of Lulus warehouse procedures is required
  • Prior experience in a leadership role is strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of Lulus clothing and products is preferred
  • Excellent communication; written, oral, and group facilitation
  • Excellent knowledge of punctuation, grammar, and spelling
  • Demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues, supervisors, and managers at all times
  • Work well under pressure. Meet multiple, and sometimes, competing deadlines
  • Ability to build and maintain positive relationships both internally and externally
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office, and Google Drive
  • Ability to apply logical thinking and sound judgment to a wide range of practical problems
  • Ability to work independently and take initiative where needed

Work Environment

  • Duties are performed both inside and outside in varying temperatures, including heat, cold, and sometimes wet or humid conditions. Exposure to high background noise is probable.

Physical Requirements For Performing Essential Duties

  • Sitting/Standing/Walking: Approximately 95% of the time is spent in varying work areas where standing and walking are required. 5% of time is spent in an office environment.
  • Speaking/Hearing: Ability to effectively communicate and coordinate with co-workers and subordinates
  • Vision: Ability to visualize items around the work area, able to assess weights, and judge distances and heights. Good eye-hand/foot coordination
  • Lifting/Carrying: Ability to lift/carry 50 lbs by hand
  • Stooping/Kneeling: Ability to stoop and/or kneel to access locations as needed
