Job description

Description

Responsibilities :

• Provide advice on testing strategy, test plans, testing tools, and resource requirements.
• Plan and organize testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including system integration, specialized tests, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).
• Develop test plans, scripts, and cases; execute these against various components.
• Collaborate with testing leads, IT leads, and project teams during analysis, design, development, implementation, and support phases.

General Skills

• Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts.
• Knowledge of structured development methodologies.
• Experience with CASE tools, data query tools, automated test tools, and version control systems.
• Proficiency in executing functional, non-functional, and integration tests.
• Supporting and participating in UAT activities.
• Creating testing documentation and test data.
• Understanding of the Systems Development Life Cycle.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
• Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines.
• Knowledge of at least one programming language.
• Understanding testing methods in object-oriented environments.
• Knowledge of Information Management principles and AODA compliance.

Candidate should advise on testing strategies, develop and execute automation testing solutions, and possess excellent SQL skills for testing and validation.
