Description

Responsibilities :

• Provides advice on testing strategy, test plans, selection of testing tools, and resource identification for testing.
• Plans and organizes testing efforts for large systems in GUI and non-GUI environments, including system integration, specialized, and user acceptance testing (e.g., stress tests).
• Develops and executes test plans, scripts, and cases; collaborates with project teams for analysis, design, development, and support of systems.

General Skills :

• Experience in planning, organizing, and implementing testing efforts; knowledge of structured methodologies.
• Proficiency with CASE tools, data query tools, automated testing tools, and version control systems.
• Experience with functional, non-functional, and system integration tests.
• Supporting and participating in UAT activities.
• Knowledge of QA principles, practices, tools, and methodologies.
• Creating testing strategies, plans, cases, and data for various testing phases.
• Experience with unit, integration, load, and performance testing.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Team player with a track record of meeting deadlines; knowledge of automated testing tools.
• Knowledge of programming languages.
• Experience with information retrieval packages and testing in object-oriented environments.
• Understanding of Information Management principles and AODA standards.
• Experience planning / testing for both large and small systems.
• Coding automated test scripts.
• Testing COTS applications.

Additional Responsibilities :

• Advising on application design, architecture, UI / UX, and accessibility.
• Developing automation testing solutions and providing coding recommendations for accessibility.
• Working with project teams for analysis, design, and support of systems.

Skills & Experience :

• Extensive defect triaging, defect tracking, and test case creation experience.
• 5+ years developing automation scripts; experience with various testing tools.
• Experience with HTML5, WAI-ARIA, UX, front-end development, and accessibility testing.
• Experience with DevOps / Agile / Scrum methodologies, manual and automation testing, security testing, and system testing.
• Proficiency in analyzing business requirements, creating detailed test cases, and bug documentation.

Must Haves :

• Extensive defect management and testing experience, including manual and automated testing.
• 5-10 years of experience with various testing types and tools like Azure DevOps.
