Bridging IT and Marketing for Smarter Customer Engagement As an IT Architect - Marketing, you will be responsible for the design, implementation and lifecycle management of technology architectures and application architectures that support one or more application systems. You will build and maintain a holistic view of an ideal Marketing technology platform architecture that supports Home Hardware's MarTech roadmap. Led by the Director, IT eCommerce, this opportunity suits a results-oriented and proactive professional, with prior experience supporting marketing automation. Ready to make an impact in a new role? • Lead the design, development, and deployment of technical and application solutions to meet business requirements that are cost effective and sustainable.
• Translate business requirements using complex methods and models to determine appropriate system solutions.
• Provide input into annual budget planning for technology migrations and project cost estimation.
• Research, identify, test, certify, and recommend technology products required for solution delivery.
• Establish and implement technology migration strategies for a specific application or architecture within an IT portfolio.
• Lead technology review meetings and ensure appropriate governance processes are followed.
• Design and write high quality code to evolve Home's Marketing Technologies.
• Ensure all necessary architecture content is documented and available.
• Participate in other architecture decisions and validations of domain architectures as required.

We're looking for :

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, with five to ten years of progressive experience within IT, including expert level knowledge of Marketing Automation and Customer Relationship platforms.
• Technically proficient, with the ability to :
• Integrate with internal and external API's and databases.
• Design and implement REST API's.
• Understand Microsoft marketing technologies such as Customer Data Platform and Microsoft Customer Insights along with Microsoft Azure.
• Extensive experience with various integration patterns such as SOAP, REST, file based, FTP using various formats such as JSON and XML.
• Comprehensive understanding of systems, applications, and / or networks for practical solutions can be provided that factor system performance, usability, quality, cross-system interdependencies, scalability, and overall cost to develop and maintain.
• Working knowledge of CI / CD approaches and tool.
• Strong problem solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
• The ability to be onsite three days a week at our corporate office in St. Jacobs, to accommodate our hybrid working model.
