Baker Tilly SNT is currently looking for an experienced, motivated, and client-driven individual to join our growing team as a Senior Accountant in our Timmins office. The Senior Accountant will be an integral part of our team. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career through challenging and rewarding opportunities in a collaborative and supportive environment.

Your primary responsibilities will include :

• Year-end planning for various companies, including direct communication and coordination with clients
• Preparation and review of notice to reader, review, and audit engagement reports
• Supervising engagements and related tax filings within a paperless office environment
• Identifying and resolving engagement issues
• Training and mentoring junior staff on engagements
• Ensuring client satisfaction with the firm’s services
• Providing timely, high-quality client service that meets or exceeds expectations
• Identifying and cultivating new sales and service opportunities for clients

A successful candidate will have :

• University degree in Business or related field
• CPA designation is an asset
• Three or more years of progressive public accounting experience
• Strong technical accounting and tax knowledge
• Bilingualism in French and English is an asset
• Excellent leadership, communication, and analytical skills
• A passion for client service
