Job summary

Silk & Snow is hiring an E-commerce Coordinator to support day-to-day operations and optimization of the online store. You will work with marketing, creative, and development teams to maintain site health, coordinate promotions, and assist with analytics and reporting.

The role emphasizes detail-orientation, proactive problem-solving, and collaboration across teams to enhance conversion and customer experience on our e-commerce platform.

Qualifications

• University or College Degree/Diploma in Marketing, eCommerce or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, retail, or related field.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• Proactive, resourceful, and able to solve problems independently.
• Can manage multiple projects with accuracy in a collaborative environment.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data for decisions.
• Excellent communication across teams and stakeholders.
• Good eye for design and customer experience in digital products.
• Familiar with Shopify, WordPress, Figma, and analytics platforms.
• Interest in e-commerce and creating exceptional online shopping experiences.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics or Google Search Console is a plus.
• Basic understanding of SEO is an asset.

• Prepare weekly and monthly e-commerce performance reports tracking sales and KPIs.
• Monitor website performance and flag issues to E-commerce Manager.
• Coordinate SEO and AEO initiatives with copywriters, developers, and marketing teams.
• Assist with promotional setups and pricing file coordination.
• Participate in QA testing before and after launches for a smooth customer experience.
• Support seasonal campaigns, product launches, and site updates with timelines.

Job description

The E-commerce Coordinator will support the day-to-day operations and optimization of Silk & Snow's online store. Reporting to the Manager, E-commerce, you'll help maintain the health of our website, coordinate promotion & product launches, support site analysis and reporting, and assist with ongoing website improvements.

This is a great opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, resourceful, and eager to build a career in e-commerce while working closely with marketing, creative, and development teams.

In this current open role you will:

• Support the ongoing maintenance and optimization of the Silk & Snow website, including navigation, landing pages, and merchandising updates.
• Review and maintain product detail pages to ensure accuracy, consistency, and optimization across product copy, imagery, feature highlights, size guides, and overall user experience.
• Prepare weekly and monthly e-commerce performance reports, tracking sales, website performance, and key metrics.
• Monitor website performance and flag unusual trends or issues to the E-commerce Manager for further investigation.
• Support the execution of Silk & Snow's SEO and AEO initiatives by coordinating with copywriters, developers, and the performance marketing team.
• Coordinate promotional setup and execution, including pricing files, in collaboration with marketing and developer team members.
• Participate in quality assurance (QA) testing before and after launches to ensure a seamless customer experience and accurate pricing.
• Assist with seasonal marketing campaigns, product launches, and other site updates by coordinating timelines and collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders.
• Conduct competitive and market research to identify emerging trends and opportunities within the home furnishings and e-commerce space.
• Work closely with the UX Design team to support ongoing website optimization initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve conversion, usability, and the overall customer journey.

The Qualifications and Experience we like to see:

• University or College Degree/Diploma in Marketing, eCommerce or related discipline.
• 1-3 years of professional experience in e-commerce, digital marketing, retail, or a related field through work, internships, or co-op placements.
• Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
• A resourceful, proactive mindset with a willingness to solve problems independently.
• The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
• Strong analytical skills and an interest in interpreting data to help drive decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across multiple teams.
• A good eye for design and customer experience, with an appreciation for clean, intuitive digital experiences.
• Comfort working with modern digital tools and platforms, including Shopify, WordPress, Figma, Google Workspace, and other marketing or analytics platforms.
• An interest in e-commerce or digital marketing, and creating exceptional online shopping experiences.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, or other website analytics tools is an asset.
• Basic understanding of SEO best practices is an asset.

Additional Information:

This is a current open position. The salary range for this position is $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 annually. Actual salary for the role may vary depending on work location of the successful candidate and other factors including but not limited to, skills, education, experience, working conditions and the local labour market.
