Job summary

Waste Connections of Canada is seeking a driver to join our local fleet. The role involves safely operating a garbage truck on designated routes, reading route sheets and serving customers, and performing pre- and post-route vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability.

You will work Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday with overtime; a valid DZ or AZ license, clean driving record, and 2+ years of local route experience are required.

Qualifications

• Valid Class DZ Or AZ Driver's license.
• Clean driving record
• 2+ years of local route driving experience
• Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Reading route sheets and service each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Performing routine post and pre route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Having professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed.

• - Safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste .

• - Having professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed.
• - Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday or Monday to Friday with overtime as assigned on Mondays/ Saturdays: 9h per day guaranteed!

What We Need From You:

• - Valid Class DZ Or AZ Driver's license
• - Clean driving record
• - 2+ years of local route driving experience
• - Must be able to pass all pre-employment requirements
