Job summary

Waste Connections of Canada is hiring a full‑time driver to safely operate a garbage truck on designated routes in Canada. You will read route sheets, service customers, and complete pre/post‑route inspections while keeping professional interactions with customers.

The role requires a Class 3 license with a clean CVOR and basic front‑load driving experience. Typical schedule is Monday to Friday on 10‑hour days, with benefits and RRSPs available.

Qualifications

• Valid Class 3 driver’s license.
• Clean CVOR and Abstract.
• Front-load driving experience is an asset.
• 2-3 years of Class 3 driving experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely operating a garbage truck on specified routes to collect solid waste.
• Reading route sheets and servicing each customer identified on the sheet or assigned by the dispatcher.
• Performing routine post and pre-route inspections on vehicles such as checking fluids, safety equipment, and tires.
• Having professional and courteous interactions with our customers when needed.
