Emterra Group is seeking a Driver/Loader to operate recycling collection vehicles across Northern Ontario, performing safe pre- and post-trip inspections and delivering excellent customer service throughout the region. The role covers routes between Sault Ste.

Marie, Wawa, Timmins, Thunder Bay, Kenora and Red Lake with overnight travel required. Rotating schedule averages four days per week, with occasional five-day weeks.

Qualifications

• Valid Ontario DZ driver’s license with a clean driver’s abstract and CVOR.
• Minimum one-year experience driving with a DZ license OR AZ graduate from an accredited driving school.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout Northern Ontario.
• Rotating schedule averaging four days per week, with occasional five-day work weeks based on operational requirements.
• Comfortable working independently and staying overnight away from home as required.
• Strong time management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of Northern Ontario roadways and driving conditions is considered an asset.
• Able to successfully pass all required pre-employment screenings.
• Punctual, reliable, and a team player.

Responsabilités

• Operate recycling collection vehicles in a safe and professional manner.
• Collect and transport recyclable materials from assigned customer locations.
• Service multiple collection routes and municipalities across Northern Ontario.
• Travel throughout designated service areas, including overnight stays as required.
• Observe all company safety policies and safe work practices.
• Provide excellent customer service in accordance with company policies.
• Ensure assigned routes are successfully completed in a timely and safe manner.
• Conduct pre- and post-trip inspections and complete DVIRs.
• Maintain accurate route documentation and communicate with operations teams.
