Job summary

Linde Canada Inc. is seeking a full-time DZ Route Delivery Driver in Dryden, ON. The Driver will safely transport and deliver gas cylinders to customers while following strict safety protocols.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of driving experience, a valid provincial driver’s license with an air brake endorsement, and skills in handling compressed gases.

This position requires physical capability and mechanical aptitude, along with adherence to Transportation of Dangerous Goods regulations.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two years of AZ / DZ / Class 1 or Class 3 driving experience.
• Valid, incident-free provincial Driver's License with air brake endorsement.
• Trained in Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) and WHMIS.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload cylinders and ensure compliant load with shipping documents.
• Check and placard vehicle according to TDG regulations.
• Complete shipping orders and related paperwork.

Skills

Driving experience (2 years)

Knowledgeable in compressed gases

The Driver is responsible for the safe transportation and delivery of gas cylinders to customers.

What you will enjoy doing

• You will be responsible to load and unload cylinders, count and record quantities and styles of product to ensure actual load complies with shipping documents
• Check and placard vehicle according to Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) regulations is part of your role
• Follow operating and safety procedures while completing the assigned tasks
• Further, you will complete shipping orders and related paperwork
• Additionally, complete trip reports, fuel tickets, and other necessary reports
• Conduct pre and post trip inspections, noting and explaining defects or deficiencies to supervisor
• Also, you will identify need for repairs and / or maintenance to vehicles and ensure maintenance or repairs are conducted with minimal disruption to the operation
