Job summary

Ledcor Highways offers a fully funded training program to upgrade your G class license to a DZ license, enabling you to join Ledcor and support winter and summer highway operations across the province.

The program provides paid training, a competitive wage, benefits, and potential for full-time or seasonal employment. Expect shift work, on-call duties, and night shifts in a safety‑oriented environment.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Possess a minimum Class 5 License without restrictions and a clean driver’s abstract.
• Able to pass an MTO medical exam and vision screening exam to obtain AZ/DZ license.
• Safety-oriented with a commitment to quality.
• Must be able to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 lbs regularly.

Responsibilities

• Participate in training to upgrade to a DZ license.
• Support winter and summer highway operations.
• May lead to full-time or seasonal employment depending on performance and need.
• Work may require shift work, on-call duties, and night shifts.
