We're currently hiring Fuel and Propane Delivery Drivers to support our expanding customer base in Stratford, Ontario. This is a valued and respected position within our company—we know that our success is driven by the professionalism and dedication of our drivers.

As a Fuel and Propane Delivery Driver, you'll be responsible for the safe, efficient, and timely loading and delivery of fuel, propane, and related products to our customers while providing courteous and dependable service.

This is a full-time, permanent role, working days Tuesday to Saturday, or Wednesday to Sunday, with a start time of 6 am-7 am each day. Once trained, the driver will become part of the on-call rotation schedule.

IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL:

  • Ensure safe and timely petroleum and propane delivery to residential and commercial customers.
  • Perform day shifts during the workweek and occasionally on weekends as part of the compensated on-call schedule.
  • Ensure accurate record keeping, including product delivery, maintenance of logbooks, and transportation of dangerous goods reports.
  • Perform mandatory circle checks and maintain the truck, cab, uniform, and work location clean.
  • Share all pertinent information with dispatch, including improvement suggestions for safety, productivity, and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist with lubricants, other products and equipment deliveries, when required.
  • Adhere to all legal and company regulations affecting the operation of motor vehicles.
  • Perform other duties as required.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

Education and Experience Required:

  • High school diploma is required.
  • Valid DZ certification is required.
  • Minimum of (3) years post-certification driving required.
  • Experience driving liquid bulk is desirable.
  • Fuel haulage and/or delivery experience is highly desirable.
  • PM3, PM4, or PMH licenses are considered an asset.
  • Forklift and Boom Truck experience is an asset.
  • Mechanical inclination is required.
  • Must possess a clean 'abstract' and acceptable CVOR.

  • Must always present a professional image.
  • A willingness to participate in training is essential.

Other:

  • Local geographical knowledge is required.
  • Must always conform to the requirements of Ministry of Transportation regulations.
  • Ability to work autonomously and responsibly within a small and cohesive team.
  • Ability and willingness to work in all-weather situations.
  • Ability to lift 100 pounds and position requires frequent bending.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends, on occasion.
  • Regular options are Tuesday to Saturday or Wednesday to Sunday, starting between 6 am - 7 am daily.
  • Occasional out-of-town travel may be required.
  • Willingness to be cross-trained in delivering multiple products, equipment, etc.
