Responsibilities

• Complete deliveries to customers according to the assigned delivery route
• Assist in loading and unloading trucks
• Follow safe driving practices and Ministry of Transportation regulations, maintaining Hours of Service log book as required by law
• Perform duties following health and safety procedures, complete delivery documentation and end-of-day reports
• Carry proper documentation in the truck
• Execute all other duties as assigned by Supervisor

Qualifications

Must Haves:

• Minimum two (2) years’ experience as a truck driver (minimum DZ designation) in a customer-focused industry
• Certification to operate a boom truck
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Able to lift 50 pounds

Nice to Haves:

• Knowledge of local routes
• Plumbing and/or HVAC product knowledge
