Buchner Manufacturing Inc. (BMI) is seeking a DZ Delivery Driver to service locations across Ontario, delivering and picking up products and representing the company with professional customer service.

Requirements include a DZ license with a clean abstract, a minimum of 3 years DZ driving experience, forklift experience a plus, and the ability to work overtime. The position offers 40–47.5 hours per week with an hourly rate of $25-$27 CAD.

The DZ Delivery Driver is responsible for delivery and pickup of products to clients at various locations across Ontario while following all laws and regulations of the province. The DZ Delivery Driver represents the company, providing superior professional customer service to our clients.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Performing truck inspections and filling out daily logs
• Driving safely and following laws of Ontario and MTO guidelines
• Delivery and pickup of products
• Collection of customer payments
• Loading/unloading trucks and moving product, equipment or bulk materials by hand and/or using unpowered or powered equipment
• General housekeeping of work area
• Other duties as required
• Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Education/Certification/Experience

While performing the duties of the DZ Delivery Driver position, the employee will have exposure to all types of outside elements (rain, snow, extreme cold/hot conditions), as well as a warehouse environment which includes moving forklifts and bedmovers and delivery trucks in the parking lot.The noise level in this environment is moderate.

PPE Required

• Approved steel-toed safety shoes/boots
• Approved safety glasses/goggles (supplied)
• Approved ear protection as required (supplied)
• Gloves (supplied)

Hours of Work

40.0 – 47.5 hours/week; varies according to individual branch seasonal operating hours

Includes 30-minute unpaid meal break + 2 paid 15-minute breaks each shift

Overtime as required.

Hourly Rate:

$25-$27/hr
