Job summary

Buchner Manufacturing Inc. (BMI) is seeking a DZ Delivery Driver to join our Kingston team. You will perform truck inspections, drive in all weather, and handle delivery and pickup of products while maintaining accurate logs.

This full-time, hourly role requires a DZ licence with a clean abstract, 3 years DZ driving experience, and a willingness to work overtime. We offer competitive pay, benefits, and safety gear in a busy warehouse environment.

Major Areas of Responsibilities

• Performing truck inspections and filling out daily logs
• Driving safely and following laws of Ontario and MTO guidelines
• Delivery and pickup of products
• Collection of customer payments
• Loading/unloading trucks and moving product, equipment or bulk materials by hand and/or using unpowered or powered equipment
• General housekeeping of work area
• Other duties as required
• Adhere to health & safety policies and procedures at all times

Education/Certification/Experience

• DZ licence with clean abstract
• Minimum of 3 years driving experience in DZ capacity

While performing the duties of the DZ Delivery Driver position, the employee will have exposure to all types of outside elements (rain, snow, extreme cold/hot conditions), as well as a warehouse environment which includes moving forklifts and bedmovers and delivery trucks in the parking lot. The noise level in this environment is moderate.

PPE Required

• Approved steel-toed safety shoes/boots
• Approved safety glasses/goggles (supplied)
• Approved ear protection as required (supplied)
• Gloves (supplied)

Hours of Work

40.0 – 47.5 hours/week; varies according to individual branch seasonal operating hours

Includes 30-minute unpaid meal break + 2 paid 15-minute breaks each shift

Overtime as required.
