Job summary

Tomlinson Group of Companies is seeking a DZ Delivery Driver to join our Ottawa operations at 3150 Rideau Road. You will operate straight trucks on local routes, perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, load and unload cargo, and ensure safety and regulatory compliance while delivering goods to customers.

A valid AZ or DZ license and a reliable work ethic are required; 1-2 years of experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ or DZ Driver’s License required.
• Clean driver's abstract.
• Ability to work flexible hours including occasional weekends.
• Ability to lift heavy materials and perform manual tasks.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• 1-2 years’ experience preferred.
• Experience in equipment is an asset.

Responsibilities

• Operate straight trucks to transport goods and materials on local routes.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections of vehicle and cargo.
• Ensure cargo is secured and safe according to requirements.
• Assist customers with equipment setup and operation as needed.
