Job summary

National Research Council Canada (NRC) is seeking a Technical Advisor to support the Chief Information Officer Branch. You will provide expert advisory on IT applications, lead technical teams, and develop solutions using Dynamics CRM 365 and Microsoft Power Platform, with emphasis on reuse, maintainability, and extensibility.

You will configure CRM entities, create workflows, extend Dynamics with server-side plugins, and integrate a public portal via Power Pages.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Computer Science from a recognized University.
A Technical College diploma in Computer Science or related field or an equivalent combination of education and direct experience may be considered.

Responsibilities

Provides specialized advice to internal project teams on technical solutions and standards for IT applications.
Advises business clients on technical application issues and facilitates acceptance of design and delivery.
Conducts feasibility studies and designs research to address client requirements.
Provides technical direction to working groups and leads project teams.
Develops IT solutions within Dynamics/Power Platform and related technologies.
Integrates a public facing portal using Microsoft Power Pages.
