Job summary

Walmart Canada Corp is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate in Yarmouth, NS to unload trailers, process merchandise, and move pallets to the sales floor while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. You will support a positive customer experience and contribute to store success in a fast-paced retail environment.

The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum pay rate starting at 16.90 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

• Standing for extended periods and lifting inventory up to 50 lbs (or more) as needed.
• Be open to evenings, weekends and holidays per business needs.
• Unloading trailers, stocking shelves, and providing customer assistance as required.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading merchandise and preparing the Receiving Area.
• Handling and moving merchandise safely, including pallets to the sales floor.
• Stocking the sales floor and assisting customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock organization and labeling in designated areas for efficient inventory management.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment and adhering to safety procedures.
• Flexibility with shifts to support store operations, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Addressing potential challenges such as high task volume and overnight planning.
• Managing physical tasks like standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
