Walmart Canada Corp is seeking a Stock Unloader Associate in Yarmouth, NS to unload trailers, process merchandise, and move pallets to the sales floor while maintaining a safe, clean workspace. The role requires flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a minimum pay rate starting at 16.90 CAD per hour.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Receiving and unloading merchandise and preparing the Receiving Area.
• Handling and moving merchandise safely, including pallets to the sales floor.
• Stocking the sales floor and assisting customers to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock organization and labeling in designated areas for efficient inventory management.
• Maintaining a safe and clean work environment and adhering to safety procedures.
• Flexibility with shifts to support store operations, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Addressing potential challenges such as high task volume and overnight planning.
• Managing physical tasks like standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.

What you'll do...

• Receiving and Unloading Merchandise Prepares and resets the Receiving Area and unloads general merchandise trailers, including completing live unloading of remaining merchandise.
• Handle and Move Merchandise Safely Maintains cold chain standards for refrigerated and frozen products and pulls pallets of merchandise to the sales floor for overnight processing.
• Stocking and Customer Support Assists with stocking the sales floor as assigned and provides customer service when needed to support a positive shopping experience.
• Overstock Organization Labels and places overstock merchandise in designated areas to support efficient inventory management.
• Maintain a Safe and Clean Work Environment Follows Company policies and procedures to maintain a safe, clean, and hazard free workplace, including completing safety sweep logs and ensuring displays and fixtures are secure.
• Flexibility (Availability/Work Schedule) Be open to working a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs. Your adaptability helps ensure the store runssmoothlyand customers receive consistent, high-quality service.

• Performs repetitive tasks such as stocking, zoning, and organizing products with attention to detail and consistency to uphold store standards.
