Job summary

Alberta Precision Labs seeks a Combined Laboratory and X-Ray Technologist I to perform procedures in both the laboratory and diagnostic imaging, typically in rural sites. You will collect and analyze specimens, conduct X-ray exams, ECGs and report results, while preparing patients and performing venipuncture.

You will maintain equipment, perform quality control, and ensure safety under ALARA principles. The role requires flexibility to work days, evenings, weekends, and on call, with a 1.0 FTE

Qualifications

• Diploma in CLXT from an accredited program.
• Active or eligible for ACCLXT registration.
• Flexible to work days, evenings, weekends, and on call.
• Proficient in patient preparation, venipuncture, and X-ray procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform CLXT procedures in laboratory and diagnostic imaging.
• Collect and analyze specimens; conduct X-ray examinations and ECGs.
• Prepare patients; venipuncture and micropuncture.
• Maintain equipment, perform quality control, and report results.
• Ensure ALARA safety practices and radiographic protection.
