Job summary

A leading construction firm in the Metro Vancouver area is looking for a dedicated Construction Laborer. You will be responsible for loading and unloading materials, assisting in framing houses and erecting walls, and other related tasks. No formal education is required, but relevant experience of less than 7 months is preferred. This permanent position offers a 40-hour work week with opportunities to support community initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Load, unload and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, catwalks shoring and barricades
• Mix, pour and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Help medical examiner in charge
• Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction
• Assist in framing houses, erecting walls and building roofs
• Assist in demolishing buildings
• Remove rubble and other debris at construction sites
