Job summary

A drywall contracting company based in Kelowna is seeking experienced drywall installers to measure, cut, and install drywall sheets in both commercial and residential settings. Qualifications

• 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in drywall installation is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Measure, cut, fit and install drywall sheets.
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
• Cut openings in lath for heating and ventilation piping, ducts, and electrical outlets.
• Install metal stud framing and furring for interior drywall or plaster walls and ceilings.
• Utilize laser alignment system.
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages.
• Erect and install scaffolding, falsework, and other working platforms.
