Join Our Team as a Dry Production Technician at Embassy Ingredients!

Are you looking for an exciting opportunity in the world of food production? Do you have a passion for delicious desserts, safety, and quality? If so, Embassy Ingredients wants you to be a part of our dynamic team! We are seeking a dedicated Dry Production Technician to join the morning or afternoon shift.

Shift Information:

Monday to Friday with weekend and overtime work as required.

Day Shift Hours: 5:45 AM-2:15 PM.

Afternoon Shift Hours: 2:15 PM to 10:45 PM.

Your role will be responsible for:

  • Compounding/mixing/packaging delicious bakery mixes following our recipes.
  • Verifying ingredient names and quantities prior to compounding and/or mixing.
  • Accurately completing our production documentation.
  • Following all our health & safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment – if you see/hear something say something.
  • Ensuring punctual arrival at work daily.
  • Keeping your workspace clean and ensuring raw materials are properly stored.
  • Communicating all safety, quality, or equipment issues to your supervisor.
  • Prioritizing food safety standards and quality checks.

What you need to bring to Embassy:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Excellent English written and verbal communication and intermediate math skills.
  • A valid Raymond Reach and Walkie forklift license.
  • Previous work experience in the beauty, food or pharmaceutical industry is an asset.
  • High sense of urgency and commitment to making amazing bakery products.
  • Attention to detail is critical in our environment.
  • Team player mentality: accept constructive feedback and enjoy working with others.

You should be prepared for:

  • Exposure to high-decibel and dusty (non-toxic food ingredients) environment.
  • Routinely wearing personal protective equipment and respiratory protection – your safety is important to us!
  • Lifting up to 25kg on a continuous basis and performing tasks that will require bending and twisting.
  • Lots of bakery treats to enjoy and take home.
