Job summary

Hatfields Jaguar Land Rover Dealership in Pickering is seeking a Driver/Valeter to move customer and company vehicles safely and greet customers. You will load vehicles for showroom handovers, assist with sales pitches, and manage the compound while keeping the car park tidy and free of litter.

Loading/unloading, vehicle mileage recording, and occasional valeting form part of the role. Mon-Fri 08:00–18:00, 40 hours weekly. £13.45 per hour plus a monthly bonus opportunity will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Drive and valeting of customer and company vehicles, safe movement between locations and compounds
• Greet customers when required and facilitate deliveries to them
• Load vehicles in/out of showroom for handovers and assist with sales pitches and compound management
• Ensure car park is tidy, spaces are available, and litter/debris is kept under control
• Occasionally clean vehicles and perform spot valeting checks

Monday - Friday between 08:00 - 18:00 - 40 hours per week

About the role

We are looking for a Driver/Valeter to work at our prestige Land Rover Dealership in Pickering. As part of your role you will ensure that Customer and Company vehicles are moved between locations and compounds safely with care. Also, greeting customers when required and facilitating deliveries to them. As well as ensuring demonstrator vehicles are fueled and the mileages are recorded against our dealership database.

Another key part of your role will be to load vehicles in and out of the showroom for customer handovers, also helping to organise the sales pitches and compound. As well as ensuring the car park is managed and that spaces are available and it is clear from litter and debris.

There will be occasional cleaning of vehicles and spot checking valeting also.
