Position Overview: The Cat Rental Store (Finning Canada) is seeking a Driver for our TCRS branch in Calgary. As a Driver, you will be responsible for the hauling, delivery, and retrieval of assorted Caterpillar rental equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Pickup and delivery of equipment
• Loading and unloading company trucks
• Various wash bay and yard duties
• Keeping records updated electronically via company-specific Driver Log App on phone
• Observe safety rules and regulations at TCRS customer sites and facilities

Qualifications:

• Must have a Class 5 driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Knowledge of load securement and operating various types of equipment is a plus
• Capable of repeated lifting/pushing to load and unload rental items
• Proven experience operating a large truck with trailer
• Competent in basic computer programs including Email and Word
• Ability to learn company software and driving log app

Note:

• Class 1 or Class 3 license preferred
• Ability to maneuver transport trucks in challenging terrain and weather
• Ensure equipment safety for transport (blocks, strapping, chaining)
• Experience with heavy equipment is an asset
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently
• Physical fitness for demanding tasks (lifting, standing, bending, etc.)
• Team player with attention to detail
